Margaret Achieng, a mother of 3 from Athinai village came to our facility sometimes in June 2019 for Antenatal Care. After HIV testing, the 30 years old woman turned out positive. We counseled her and fortunately, she religiously took the advice we gave her and started her HAART. Later on 11th Jan 2020, she experienced Labour pains, her husband wanted her to deliver in Mogotio sub county hospital but she had to trick him and came to our facility. She feared stigmatization at the facility. She safely delivered a bouncing baby girl 3.0kgs. We started the baby on niverapine and advised her to continue visiting our facility. She was very glad and promised to mobilize her friends to come to our facility for delivery.
